Ten Days Zanzibar Holiday
Ten days devoted to Zanzibar, with two suggested nights in Stone Town and seven by the coast. History, optional locally hosted visits and unplanned beach days give the island a chapter of its own.
The suggested journey
Days to remember.
Stone Town · Zanzibar · Zanzibar coast
Original sample itinerary — not a confirmed package. Day order, camps, travel times, flights, activities and prices need verification. Coastal rain, tides and sea conditions affect the experience. Guiding, marine excursions and accommodation standards require individual checks; optional activities can be replaced with rest.
DAY 01Welcome to Zanzibar
Arrive at Zanzibar’s airport and take a proposed transfer to Stone Town. Leave the first afternoon free to recover from travel and get your bearings. Airport arrangements, entry requirements and your chosen accommodation must be checked before departure.
Suggested overnight: Stone Town · property to confirm
DAY 02Discover Stone Town respectfully
Consider a guided exploration of Stone Town’s lanes, architecture and cultural history. Dress appropriately away from the beach and ask before photographing people. Guiding, transfers and entrance charges are not assumed included.
Suggested overnight: Zanzibar · property to confirm
DAY 03From historic lanes to the coast
After breakfast, transfer from Stone Town to your selected beach area. Choose the coast around your preferred swimming conditions, pace and travel month rather than a photograph alone. Settle into your accommodation; transfer duration and room availability remain to be confirmed.
Suggested overnight: Zanzibar coast · property to confirm
DAY 04A day shaped by the tides
Spend time on the beach and enjoy a restful day. Swimming conditions depend on your chosen coast and the tide. Optional sailing or snorkelling must be arranged with suitable operators and is weather dependent.
Suggested overnight: Zanzibar · property to confirm
DAY 05An island shaped by spice and trade
Consider a locally hosted spice-farm visit to learn about crops, food and the island’s trading history. Arrange guiding, transport and fees separately if desired, and ask before photographing people. A quiet day at your accommodation is an equally suitable alternative.
Suggested overnight: Zanzibar · property to confirm
DAY 06An open day beside the Indian Ocean
Leave the programme deliberately open for reading, a stroll where tides permit or time at your accommodation. Check local swimming advice and avoid treating every beach as suitable at every hour. Spa treatments or other paid activities are optional, not assumed inclusions.
Suggested overnight: Zanzibar · property to confirm
DAY 07Explore the coast with care
If conditions and operator standards allow, consider a guided snorkelling outing with suitable equipment and a safety briefing. Swimming ability, tides, weather and marine rules determine what is appropriate. Avoid contact with coral; no marine-life encounter is guaranteed.
Suggested overnight: Zanzibar · property to confirm
DAY 08Room for one more island morning
Keep the day open for rest, a hosted spice-farm visit or a separately arranged sea excursion. Confirm accessibility, operator standards and weather before committing to activities. Sometimes the best choice is to do less.
Suggested overnight: Zanzibar · property to confirm
DAY 09An open day beside the Indian Ocean
Leave the programme deliberately open for reading, a stroll where tides permit or time at your accommodation. Check local swimming advice and avoid treating every beach as suitable at every hour. Spa treatments or other paid activities are optional, not assumed inclusions.
Suggested overnight: Zanzibar · property to confirm
DAY 10A final morning and onward travel
Enjoy a relaxed start before your confirmed transfer or flight. The final route depends on camp location and your onward ticket; leave sufficient connection time. Any additional overnight required will be priced separately.
Suggested overnight: No overnight proposed · onward arrangements to confirm

Before you decide.
Are these confirmed packages?
No. These are original sample routes, not an availability promise. The final proposal must identify properties, transport, permitted activities, inclusions, prices and any changes.
Can we change the route or pace?
Yes, the concept can be used as a planning starting point. A change may affect travel times, park fees, flight connections and lodging availability; all arrangements must be rechecked.
Will we see the migration or the Big Five?
No sighting can be guaranteed. Wildlife moves freely, weather influences seasonal patterns and river crossings cannot be scheduled.
How are costs confirmed?
A personalised quote is required. Travel dates, party size, room types, camp locations, flights and current fees all affect the total. No sample price is presented as a verified Serenity rate.
