DAY 02Enter Nyerere’s river landscapes

DAY 03Water and woodland in Nyerere

DAY 04Onwards to Ruaha
A proposed air connection links the southern parks, subject to schedules and connections. Arrive in Ruaha’s rugged scenery and allow time for the camp transfer. Do not assume a direct flight operates daily.

DAY 05Riverbeds, baobabs and big-cat country
Spend a day exploring Ruaha’s river habitats and woodland. Look for wildlife around seasonal water and appreciate the park’s varied terrain. Sightings and access depend on rainfall and local conditions.

DAY 06One more day in the southern wild
Stay in Ruaha for another considered day rather than rushing to the next stop. Discuss a different viewing area with your guide and make time for birdlife, landscapes and rest between drives.
