TheWhiskeyRoute-Scenic&Challenging
"The Machame Route, nicknamed the 'Whiskey Route' (as opposed to the easier 'Coca-Cola' Marangu Route), is the most popular route on Kilimanjaro."
It offers incredible scenery, varied terrain, and a good acclimatization profile with several 'climb high, sleep low' days. The route is more physically demanding than Marangu or Rongai but rewards climbers with stunning views and a higher success rate.
